For the longest time, I thought I needed to be more organized. Now I know I just needed less stuff.

We often have the best intentions to get rid of things and organize everything better...but we don't have the time or energy, or maybe we've let it go too long and now don't know where to start. Maybe we're working, moving, or planning for something special and feel overwhelmed. Whatever the reason, sometimes we just need a hand. Let's work together to create an organized environment that will help simplify your life.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS & HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The process is an efficient and effective one. We'll begin with a free initial phone consultation to discuss the basics of your situation and project. I offer two options.

IN-PERSON ORGANIZING

This will be hands-on in your home, office, garage, storage areas, or any place that needs decluttering and organizing.

Our first session starts with a tour of your space and involves questions about your goals, visual style, and what has worked and not worked for you in the past.

Then we get to putting your space in order!  We can work side by side the entire time, or I can work on my own with intermittent input from you.

My professional experience, aesthetic sense, and positive attitude keep the process on track, while your involvement ensures that the systems we implement are suited to your own needs, habits, and preferences.

We book by the session with a minimum of three or six hours. While each client’s situation is unique:

  • 3 hours can be enough to accomplish a significant amount and maybe complete a small project, such as a small to medium size closet or pantry.

  • Larger projects are better suited to multiple sessions of six hours each.

  • Sessions of up to eight hours are recommended in time-sensitive situations such as moves.

The final 10 minutes of each session are dedicated to reviewing our progress, collecting payment, and setting a follow-up.

VIRTUAL ORGANIZING

Virtual organizing can be a more cost-effective alternative because you are doing the physical work, but are still getting the expertise, guidance, and support of a professional organizer.

This option works well for those:

  • Who are motivated to get organized but too busy and only have an hour at a time

  • Who are located outside of the SBS service area or live where there are no organizers

  • Who desire shorter follow-up sessions in between in-person organizing

  • Who are in need of guidance and coaching on scheduling, tasks, and project planning

  • Who prefer a “do-it-yourself” approach with the help of an experienced professional

Virtual organizing includes:

  • One hour session via phone or video chat

  • Follow up email with session recap and next steps

  • Flexible scheduling

Virtual organizing sessions to be paid after booking and in advance of session.
